It’s been in the back of your head for months, or maybe years, and you just can’t shake it.
Drop a “Me!” in the comments if this is you!
You’re ready to pay off your debt and travel, instead of waiting for your vacation days to accrue. I’ve been there, seriously, I’m not just saying that.
I was exactly where you are and I took the leap just a few years ago and never looked back. I knew I was ready, and even though I was scared, it was clear that staring my own business was something I was meant to do.
Now I know what that clarity looks like and I want to share it with you.
You’re ready for more
People think you start your own business because you hate your job, but in my experience, running towards something means more than running away from something. I didn’t hate my job when I left to turn my side hustle into my full-time gig, I just knew I wanted more.
I was grateful for what I had learned, but it just was fulfilling what I really wanted to create with my life. I was ready to take the wheel and create a life I dreamed of, and I wanted it bad enough that I knew starting a business what the way to get it.
When you’re running from a job, you’re making a decision from a place of fear, when you run towards your business, you’re making a decision out of excitement. If you feel this way, you’re ready.
You see the big picture
You’re not just ready to make an extra buck, you can see everything you want to create with your business. You can see how you want to help people and how your service or product will change their lives. It’s not just about the money, because the money isn’t why you want to start your own business, it’s a result.
We’re happier at work when we’re there for more than the money, and that’s the same for having your own business. When you have a solid foundation and a vision for the future, you can start taking the steps to build that future. If you’re stuck thinking small, you’ll miss out on what you could really accomplish with your business.
If you can dream of your business and what your life looks around it, you’re ready to make it so.
You’re willing to make the best investment
An investment in yourself! It takes money to make money isn’t a saying for no reason. Starting a business takes investment, but if you know that you’re the best investment you can make, you’re ready for more and ready to do what it takes.
If the thought of you never pursuing your dream business is scarier than investing in yourself, then you’re ready.
The new year is just around the corner and it’s the perfect time to dive in and create the life you want. It’s hard to know where to start, even when you are ready, and that’s why I created How I Built A Successful Side Hustle to show you how!
