Why?
$$ MONEY $$
Specifically debt… more than 50% of us still have student loan debt, which also increases our likelihood of having credit card debt.
I was there, sitting at my desk dreaming about the day my student loans were paid off and having more freedom working for myself. I was ready for something better.
You’ve probably thought about it too.
Actually, leave me a comment below if you’ve always wanted to start your own business but something has been holding you back!
Maybe you have friends who’ve started their own business. You’re intrigued, but always wonder…
How do they do it?
Being an entrepreneur is not something for people who can’t cut it at corporate jobs, it’s a path chosen by those who want to build a life they want on their own terms.
I could give you 50 reasons to start your own business, but I’m going to share five of my favorites. These reasons catapulted me into my six-figure side hustle.
These are realities for small business owners every day, and they could be for you too.
Pursue your passion
It may sound cliche, but it’s true! Your passion doesn’t have to be the most creative or even something new, it can be something you simply enjoy doing.
My passion is helping small and local businesses grow through digital marketing and empowering women to build businesses to help them.
Whatever your passion, there is a business that can bring it to life!
Make Your Own Schedule
Flexibility is a currency in itself. Having your own business gives you control of your schedule. You decide when you work or when you don’t work!
You decide when you take calls, make meetings, and even when you sleep in.
No one is telling when to create. You can work the hours that make the most sense for you and your working style.
Financial Independence
Most jobs have a cap on how much money you can make. You could get promoted or get a cost of living wage increase, but odds are your job is keeping you Just. Over. Broke.
When you have your own business, you decide how much you can make. You set your prices, you create your products and services, and you grow your business to any goal you decide.
Work from anywhere (or don’t)
Thanks to this wonderful thing called the internet, the world is your office! If you want to work and travel, you can. Spend your days touring and nights working on your business.
You can live the laptop lifestyle or just enjoy working from your patio on a beautiful day.
You can create a business and schedule that allows you to work from wherever you want. You’re in control of your freedom.
Have More Job Stability
61% of those same millennials who want to start a business believe that they could have more job security having their own business than working for someone else.
Corporate jobs used to be the safe choice, but now most of them are focused only on their bottom line and hitting their quarterly earnings goals. Employees, aka you, aren’t their priority.
When you have your own business you can create your own stability, you can put in the work and make changes when you see fit.
Now you might be thinking… but Anna, as you said before, debt is holding me back from taking the leap and starting my own thing.
Ahh, but you see, that is the beauty of side hustles. A side hustle can help you pay off debt and build your business all at the same time. That is exactly how I get started!
And that’s why I created the free training…
